My buddy and I swapped an engine and transmission from one 1985 Escort to another. After we were done we found the transmission was bad so we then did a another swap of the transmission from automatic to manual. It took us 21 hours a real marathon for us and we got no sleep. I nearly crashed my car trying to drive back to my place. But I got to work that day!

I would absolutely buy a RAM 2500 right now if the price wasnt idiotic. I went by a dealer the other day and the base model truck that was barely nicer than a fleet vehicle was $60k.

Well the 5 people I know with the ram hemi 2014-2019 have had the hemi tick. 5 people o know have had the truck. All 5 have had to fix it. I believe it common until 2022

Really happy I got my classic when I did. 19 big horn, and I had the option to go with a 1 year newer non classic with the difference being the classic had heated seats and wheel, $8000 more for the non classic. Fuck that.

I'm not very impressed as I am a mechanic. I can guarantee you not everything was reconnected or even used any bolts at all. You don't need motor mount bolts to set the motor back in place, what about the axles? They had to be modified because you're supposed to pull the wheels, the spindles, disconnect the ball joint to swing the axles into place, being there at the front wheel drive car. Not to mention alternator wiring starter wiring throttle, ignition, exhaust.... things were definitely modified to make it go together much quicker, it's not a regular car engine swap by any stretch of the imagination...☝️🤔👎

As overpriced as most vehicles already are these days, it absolutely floors me that anyone is willing to pay even more. I guess the sayings ate true... there's a sucker born every minute and some people have way more $$ than common sense. Even if I was rich, I still wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror if I paid over the already inflated MSRP for a vehicle. It's just bonkers.
